The Maples Motel has single rooms, double rooms, and two-bedroom family rooms as well as more reasonable rooms in our lodge, sleeping from one to six people. The motel offers cable TV, air conditioning, free ice, and complimentary coffee and donuts. Rollaway beds and cribs are here for your convenience. Non-smoking rooms are also available.

Our pool is the perfect way to unwind after an exciting day at Cedar Point. Umbrella tables provide a place for relaxing picnics. Osborne Park, right across the street, with its fitness trails, nature trails and tennis courts add to our ideal location. Feel the stress melt away as you lie in the hammock, shoot a few hoops, and park right in front of your room after an action-packed day at the Point.

Sunset Lodge

The Birthright of our "Lodge" is the 70 years evolution of intimate cabins in a "park like" setting.

As lodging has evolved from traditional tourist homes to today's full service resorts, our Lodge started with my Grandma! (the Ultimate Host)

Spread across "the back 40" were 10 cabins welcoming the Cedar Point visitor.

When motels became popular in the 1950's, we built the Maples Motel. However, we could not give up on our cabins!

The Result...4 cabins placed side by side...and a New Life began...The Sunset Lodge!
